So, today I finished off my 4,000 word assignment for my Marketing diploma and followed that up with completing my City and Guilds homework and then attended the City & Guilds class in the evening…so I didn’t get a whole lot of time for actual photography. I had to choose
It was my last day at work before a fortnights holiday so I was late home…I then had camera club…which finished late…so I didn’t get home for dinner until almost 11pm. Fortunately my lovely wife had some great grub waiting for me 😉
I found this old fashioned hand whisk in one of my kitchen draws tonight…these always remind me of a phrase my step-grandma used to use…”His legs were going like egg whisks” when she wanted to describe someone in a hurry.
Whenever I’m short of a subject I can rely on one of our cats to stand up…to be fair it’s normally this one – Elijah.
I popped out this morning on the search for pictures of leaves. This was one of the shots I got.
I’m always in trouble with the wife when I use these…she can hear the music in the next room…well you have to turn it up to 11 don’t you 😉

I suspect this has been done a million times before…but anyway, here’s my take on the daily photograph!
aka Crane Fly. It is the season and our cats enjoy chasing them round. They hadn’t noticed this one yet so I took advantage. Unusually for me I used off camera flash for this shot.
Tonight was the Dunmow Photography Club held at Orange Street Photography and it was water splash and macro night. I learnt a lot and saw some very interesting and relatively easy ways to take some interesting photographs…all things that I have been kind of aware of, but never actually done.
