The Starr Restaurant (where Jamie Oliver apparently once worked) in Great Dunmow always has a fine Christmas Tree outside and this year was no exception. Hope you all have a great Christmas.

Today was Dunmow Carnival day and the town was awash with bunting. The procession was lengthened quite considerably this year and there was certainly less numbers out on the streets outside our house this year – we assume because more people could watch it from the comfort of their own
You choose 😉 I’m really quite undecided. I found these roses at the Foakes Hall in Great Dunmow this afternoon. I love the black and white conversion, but the orange is so vivid (at least I hope it’s orange – colour blind and all that)…
Keeping the slightly industrial / metal feel going, today’s photograph is of some palasades in Dunmow. The fact that they were photographed in Dunmow is neither here nor there, a palisade is, after all, a palisade. As if to confirm this, Google could not locate a palisade appreciation site 😉
