Computer issues mean a late posting for this shot…I’m not trying to hide it amongst other better pictures , honest 😉

Debbie made this paper (well, tissue) flower today and it looked pretty good. I thought I’d make a macro shot of it – lit from the right with a desk lamp.

More flowers are coming into bloom in the garden. This is the third camellia flower that has appeared on our new camellia tree, this is the first that hasn’t bloomed on the opposite side of the plant, up against the wall…what attraction the wall has for these flowers I don’t

Heading back from camera club I popped into the supermarket to see if they had anything of interest to photograph – these pears were on the reduced section…as a Yorkshireman I felt honor bound to buy them 😉 Damn tasty too!

Rooting around in the Pot Pourri bowl I found these old, dried orange slices and got to work with a lamp, a torch and a macro lens to come up with this. I desaturated the pith to give it that red colour.

I took a stroll around Dunmow this afternoon/early evening. The forecast had said we’d have sunny spells all day…I don’t think we saw the sun at all…but it was nice and warm. I ended up down by the Rover Stort and grabbed the brackets for this HDR shot.

Sitting in the lovely sunshine this morning with my camera I was taking shots of all sorts of things that caught my eye including this shot of our roof line with its repeating patterns – when I looked at it on the computer it reminded me of the shields you

I love these mars ice creams you get – they taste fantastic. I thought they’d make a great macro subject…

My wife’s been requiring some more product photography again today so Ena came out for some head shots to show off this very vivd pink crochet beret. She’s now got a bit of a waiting list but, if you want to pick up some lovely knit ware, or some Easter
