At lunchtime today I took a stroll around part of Alton Water in search of an Egret that I had seen the other day.

There was no sign of the egret but i enjoyed this scene with the birds on the line…one clearly had had enough and left, in what I hoped, was a huff!Whilst the Egret was nowhere to be seen there were plenty of these great crested Grebes about…I’ve still not got a shot I’m really happy with but I’m getting better…
