175-365v4 Roadside Poppies

We always get poppies growing on the roadside on Bigods Lane. I wasn’t sure we would see them this year as the farmer has been cutting the grass verges regularly. Not only that, but one area where they usually grow had been turned into an emergency path during some flooding that occured during lockdown, compacting the ground in certain poppy friendly areas. So I was pleased to spot a good number of poppies on my walk this morning.
