It’s Been How Long?

So, it would be fair to say that not much has happened on this web site for a long time. There was a short burst of activity during 2019, but that really didn’t last long. In fairness, this does seem to be quite usual for me and this site, I need to be in a groove to really get on top of regular updates on here. Those grooves tend to be connected with when I do 365 projects.

So, here comes 365v4.

I really struggled with the last one I did so I have prepared a full program of photographic ideas and the equipment I’m going to use for the entire year…see the featured image…and yes, there are 12 months all prepared.

I suspect like many photographers, I have a huge pile of equipment sat around the house (I am a GAS sufferer after all…Gear Acquisition Syndrome). I have a “lens” that I got last October that I still haven’t used (when I say lens, it doesn’t actually have any glass, it is a pinhole “lens”) and a couple of film cameras (I’m particularly obsessed with film cameras at the moment, although I haven’t got a decent image out of them yet) that I really need to get using. Mot to mention the range of photoshop filters I never use…look out for those (gulp) in the next few months!

So, expect a daily photograph and a daily entry into this blog. Feel free to have a look back at my previous posts, there are plenty to go at and come and see how I’m doing when it gets really tough arund February – the worst time (at least for me) to be trying to do a daily photograph.

As I tend to do, a new 365 means a new look for the web site. I’ll be honest, the site needs some work…it’ll get better I promise 😉

Wish me luck!

ps You’ll notice I’ve hedged my bets for the 1st January…mind you the forecast isn’t great for either…
