077/366 Tarnished

The cleaning of bits and pieces continued today. I thought it was about time to polish up my Christening Rings that sit on a shelf on the landing. My intention was to give you a before and after picture but two things happened. Firstly, I just really like the tarnished version of the image. Secondly, because I don’t have a cube to photograph in when I photographed the all clean and lovely silver the reflection took in me, the room I was in and the reflector I was shooting through rather spoiling the final image.

So, I hope you enjoy this picture and I’m off to buy a cube so I can give you a version of the nicely cleaned rings without all the distracting elements 😉
