Another day where I have not had the opportunity to get out and take a picture, to be fair, I have been finding this change quite liberating…all the “landscape” shots were becoming a bit samey so I’m please to be looking at a change of pace indoors. Today continues my

Playing around with a corkscrew and a lamp in the kitchen this evening…I had hoped to get it with its “arms” up…but I didn’t have the patience to work out how to do that 😉

Following on from my previous forks and shadows photograph I thought I’d have a go a spoons this time. Not as interesting as the forks shot, but I enjoy the simplicity of these pictures.

A busy day at work meant no lunchbreak and then poor weather prevented a quick run out on the way home…so I dug the forks out, which I haven’t done for a while. It was quite restful setting them up to produce this shadow pattern…simply satisfying.

A couple of weeks ago a friend from the Bishops Stortford Camera Club gave me this Praktica LB camera and a couple of lenses as I was keen to give film photography a go. Film (black and white) was purchased along with a 28mm f2.8 lens to go along with

This wasn’t quite what I had in mind for today’s shot, but I have had this tap sat on my desk at work for no good reason since I started here a few months ago…good a reason as any!

A nice, simple shot for today – apple straight from the fruit bowl with a texture applied in photoshop.

Having watched Game of Thrones (Sky +) I suddenly realised it was 11.30pm and no photo completed so I raided debbies knitting pots and got these very nice wooden knitting needles…she’s got quite a collection – perfect for a bit of macro photography.
