I’ve got into the semi-final of a Flickr competition (for the second time) called F64. The challenge for this shot was “Film Noir”…I might have taken that a bit too literally!

This evening we spent a pleasant couple of hours in one of Bishop’s Stortford Camera Club’s members gardens being shown how she creates some amazing shots that have wowed everyone over the last few years. I enjoyed this flower, I have no idea what it is called but only one

Not the picture I was going to post today…I had a great shot of a rabbit in the local graveyard…unfortunately, for the second time recently, I hadn’t put the SD card in and so didn’t get anything…so popped out into the garden and spotted this bee…

Of course, he wasn’t…but nor was he going to give his position away by moving..

I finally got chance to go back to Mundon to photograph the frozen oak trees there with my tripod. I was just settling down to photograph these when the landowner drove across the field and threw me off…in his words he was”really pissed off”! There is a clear sign telling

I’m still 4th in the Flickr competition I take part in…and here comes the subject I have been dreading ever since the heavens opened a couple of days ago…Bone Dry. As everything outside is now sodden I have had to try and think up something that fits the brief indoors.

I was busy photographing my wife’s latest bags again today – if you want to see many more hand made bags and purses like this head over to her store by clicking here.

It started raining while we were out and about last night, and with the odd half hour here and there it pretty much hasn’t stopped since. Not a bad thing as we have been short of rain for the last month or two, but irritating when you need to take

I take part in an occasional competition on Flickr called F64 Challenge, in this months competition I am currently 4th after two rounds. This rounds challenge is “Morning Light”. Over the last couple of weeks we’ve basically had pretty flat grey morning light outside, and besides…I’m not getting up at
