This wasn’t the shot I wanted today – I found a great folly that I photographed, but because of the season (leaves, leaves and more leaves) I couldn’t get the angle to show you it was a folly. Never mind, just up the road was this field with the lonely
Having just got rid of the fair, Great Dunmow is now home to the Circus. After a busy day at work with no time to grab a shot I thought getting a shot of The Big Top would be just the thing, and throw in a bit of a sunset

Tuesday night is Camera Club night and we found ourselves at Hopleys garden centre in Much Hadham. It was a lovely evening, although I do accept you wouldn’t necessarily know that from this shot…still 😉

I have been trying to get an inflight dragonfly for some time and I finally got one today whilst walking through Rowney Woods. Typically, having failed a number of times previously I managed to get 4 or 5 of them today!
I popped out to the local Co-Op to pick some provisions up. I was surprised by the number of cats that were around – here’s a couple of them, in the order I saw them.
My wife’s been working hard on a patchwork wall hanging over the last few days. This is one of about 9 panels that will make up the finished article.
