As promised, here’s a shot of the iconic Battersea Power Station taken yesterday on the London Photowalk. I very much had Alcatraz in my mind when I processed this.
I had no idea that this existed! I went on the London Photowalk today and we visited Battersea Park. On the edge of the park and on the banks of the Thames is this Buddhist Peace Pagoda. Visit my 365 Project for a picture of the iconic Battersea Power Station,

I spent the day in London on the London Photowalk. We walked around Battersea Park, but, the star of the show was the iconic derelict power station.
I’m going on the London Photowalk tomorrow so here’s a shot I took last November on a walk around the Tower Bridge area.
So, its back to a grey out again today…no sign of the sun after our little burst of spring over the last 2 days. Here’s another one from my lunchtime stroll yesterday of the River Stort.
Taken on the River Stort at Roydon near Harlow, you have to wonder how long this tree will last.
Our walk today took us through Rowney Woods and out to Broadoaks Manor in Wimbish. This HDR photograph was taken the other side of the Manor as we followed the public footpaths back round to Rowney Woods.
There are some derelict stables in Little Canfield that I have visited before. I popped down there again today and captured this image. I was particularly taken with the pattern of the sunlight breaking in through the holes in the opposite wall.
