Whilst we were based on the coast for our Northumberland break we did venture in land to Thrunton Woods on the edge of the Northumberland National Park and took a 9 mile walk, including getting up, what the locals call, heart attack hill – it was pretty steep!

We had a week away this last week, hence the updates to the web site are late, however, we will catch up over the next few days. Our first day there saw us arrive in time to get down onto the beach for sunset and we were treated to a

Hatfield Forest is a 15 minute drive from Great Dunmow so we visit quite regularly. On this particular visit I went along at dawn with a group of photographers from the Dunmow Photography Club

Now…I know…you see a lot of Doctors Pond in this 366 project…but I very rarely get up in time to see the sun rise…so when I do, I’m going to show the results (and yes…I have done a sun rise of Doctor’s Pond before). So, despite a heavy cold I
