Another emergency “what’s on my desk” shot! This time a metal torch is given the macro treatment.
I popped over to Barling on the Essex coat this afternoon. Shortly after I got out of the car I saw this strange branch formation appearing our of a large pond – it was quite intriguing with its reflection duplicating the effect
It’s been a cold and very foggy day today in Dunmow…at least where I live. If you walked up to the High Street you got above the fog and it was a clear blue sky…still very cold though.
This is no reflection on what actually happened on Christmas Day – we had a lovely day (and a very pleasant morning walk in Rowney Woods, which we had all to ourselves)…but it was an amusing title.
Today’s shot is a straight forward black and white of telephone cables in the fog…obviously I’ve fiddled with it to make it this very high key image.

It’s almost 2 months and this is the first shot of one of our cats in the 365…which is good. It’s also, I believe, the first time I have converted one of Elijah to black and white…just to see how it looked…and he does have magnificent whiskers!
I came back from America with this free gift…and that’s all I have for your today…but at least I have now caught up with posting my 365 images…so that’s good!
Walking around Doctors Pond in Great Dunmow I noticed some pretty flowers in bloom in some of the gardens that adjoin the pond. This is a black and white version of the shot – if you are interested I have included the original colour version of the photograph…which I liked,
