125/366 Things are looking up…

…sadly, the weather’s still rubbish, but we have a long weekend ahead of us so things could be worse. This is a shot of one of our cats giving me the plaintive “let me back into the house, it’s cold and wet out here” look.

124/366 Sparkling Umbrellas

It’s nice when a photo comes out just how you envisioned it. I saw this dandelion head last night – it was perfect, but I’ve shot those before so I ignored it. When I went out into the garden this evening I was not surprised to see it had been

123/366 Centre Point

I popped out into the garden just before the heaven’s opened for today’s deluge and caught this tiny forget-me-not that had recently bloomed. I like the painted effect that the very limited depth of field created.

Camera Club (official) finished last week so the Bishop’s Stortford Camera Club (Summer Programme) commenced tonight. 118/366 Cutting It Fine

I’d love to say I’ve been dreadfully busy, but nothing could be further from the truth, I’ve done nothing today at all and yet I still hadn’t picked up my camera at 20 minutes to midnight!

117/366 Arkesden, Essex

We took a walk around Arkesden this afternoon – apparently Jamie Oliver lives in this area. As you could guarantee this week it absolutely chucked it down on us for a good 30 minutes, but it was still an enjoyable walk.

116/366 I Am…Dishwasher

To paraphrase Nikon 😉 We have an agreement at home, whoever cooks doesn’t have to wash-up. I’ve cooked about twice in the last 10 years…not because I can’t, I can quite adequately, but it’s nowhere near as good as my wife’s cooking, so I get to wash up every evening.
