Today’s trip out was our regular visit to Aldeburgh for fish and chips, and then a visit to Snape for a look at the River Alde there. I have taken The Scallop before but went bananas on the processing today…too much? I like it so it stays 😉 More photos
It’s Debbie’s birthday week, so we have both taken a week off work for some much needed r&r. We visited Oxburgh Hall today which is covered in scaffolding and the surrounding grounds have been badly effected by last week’s storm Doris…apparently 31 trees blown down. So some of the walking

This morning on my march around Dunmow we had a buzzard, robins, wrens, blackbirds, dunnocks, a magpie, crows, pigeons, various finches, blue tits, collared doves and this House Sparrow who had moved into the Dunnocks hedgerow…so plenty of activity.

My early morning walk did not elicit anything of any great interest today, so time for a quick plug of my wife’s Etsy store, The Crimson Rabbit, I was summoned to photograph her latest shawl which is, I’m sure you will agree, very pretty and perfect for a bride…
