The dreary weather continues unabated…I popped out inbetween showers and grabbed this shot of the local Geese around Doctors Pond, then an almighty crash of thunder and flash of lightning sent me scurrying back home. I then spend the next couple of our mounting some images for our next round

Another visit to Audley End House for their Victorian Day. They had a lady showing her birds of prey and this was one of them – a lovely Kestral.

I spent 20 minutes sitting on a bench on Doctors Pond in Great Dunmow one Saturday evening. Just enjoying the warm summer peace that you get here…sometimes. I spotted the ducks flying in a caught this shot of them as they came into land on the pond.
There were 2 quite magnificent weeping willow trees around Doctors Pond a few years ago. Then, this one was (possibly for good reason) cut right back to the trunk…it’s clearly a fighter though and it’s definitely making a come back.
