Whilst the bath makes a great high key background, the cat refused to look at me…which was fairly typical for Elijah

This morning on my march around Dunmow we had a buzzard, robins, wrens, blackbirds, dunnocks, a magpie, crows, pigeons, various finches, blue tits, collared doves and this House Sparrow who had moved into the Dunnocks hedgerow…so plenty of activity.

Another local bird today, a blackbird who visits our garden everyday for a meal in the bird house. His wife is not usually far away. We also now have a pair of Collared Doves and a pair of Robins visiting…well, it is Valentines Day…

I got Debbie a new bird table for Christmas and we have had the first visitors to it – they may not have all arrived at the same time ;-). The Sparrows, Doves and Tits are still rather suspicious of it and haven’t yet ventured into it…

Elijah has definitely had enough of the Christmas spirit and would like everyone to shut up and leave him alone.

The bugger didn’t come back after I had decorated the bird feeder with tinsel!
