118-365v5 – Cuckooflower (Cardamine pratensis)

I found this Cuckooflower, also commonly known as ‘Lady’s-smock’, on the roadside just down from the house. As the name suggests it flowers when the cuckoo’s start their song, and we have heard a cuckoo over the last week of so…we’ve not seen it as yet though!
