This mornings walk was accompanied by flat grey skies and a fairly steady drizzle. It was pretty miserable and the sky tends to be a pretty important part of any landscapes. I took a few shots as basically an insurance policy so I had something in the bank for the 365 project. It’s always a dangerous thing to do as it makes me lazy. In my defence it’s been a busy day (and week) with work and I really ran out of steam by the end of the day.
Of course, with Photoshop’s sky replacement feature it’s pretty easy to replace the sky and I found a rather more interesting sky (although still grey) to make the image somewhat more interesting.
It’s the tree at the top of Beaumonts Hill in Great Dunmow, always a favourite to take and you can see the original shot below.
