After a few days of baking sunshine we came back down with a bump and loads of rain today. Unfortunately, we missed out of the forecast thunder storms, but at least the umidity has cleared and the temperature has dropped significantly, hopefully meaning we can have a good nights sleep tonight.
I think the Blue Tits feel the same way and at last we have seen one of the fledglings this particular bird is busy feeding along with its partner. We also had the green finch and its fledgling in today – I didn’t see it typically, but it’s good to know it is still around.
Here we have one of the exhausted tit parents feeling the pressures of the day as s/he keeps on top of the feeding…at least the fleglings are now out so the end is in sight!
