114-365v4 Multiple Exposure Flowers

I saw an interview today via the RPS with the photographer Valda Bailey who creates some really beautiful ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) and in camera multiple exposure images, check out her web site – it’s a real treat.

As with all the RPS Zoom talks she had a huge range of hints, tips, tricks and inspiration for us all and I was inspired to step into the garden to try some in camera multiple exposures. This task was not helped by Debbie and I having carried out a fairly major slash and burn operation just yesterday and had cleared an awful lot of the contents of the garden.

Fortunately, attached to the garden wall was a small bunch of small purple flowers we get every year. I don’t know what they are but have included them in a previous 365 project when I photographed them last.

So, this shot is a 5 shot multiple exposure, all done in camera (my Nikon D800, ideal as it only give you 2 options as to how it will blend the images, so I didn’t get too confused 😉 ). Certainly something to work on over the next few weeks.
