Five Tree Walk

I do the same walk in the morning three times a week (and during lockdown I often do it for a 4th time at the weekend). My wife is often surprised that I don’t get bored of it and, strangely, I don’t.

It’s a 5km distance from door back to door and takes in some nice parts of Great Dunmow and the countryside that surrounds it. There are a number of photographic opportunities along the way that I have photographed many, many times and sometimes I don’t particularly pay any attention to what’s going on around me I just walk and it gives a good, positive start to the day.

The trees included in this post are certainly my favourites on this walk, but certainly not the only trees available, these all have some interest about them though and, added bonus, we had the makings of a sunrise today.

You may recognise some of these from earlier posts this year here and here. It’s always interesting to see how these trees change over the year. I’m sure thsi will be an ongoing theme on the blog.
