More Photoshop!

I’ve messed about in Photoshop over the years, although my go to application is Lightroom for 90% of the time. I’ve been doing a rather excellent course “Photoshop Artistry – Fine Art Grunge Composition Course!” – not much of a mouthful – that I have both really enjoyed and also found rather inspiring. Whilst I still have mountains to learn in Photoshop I am beginning to feel like I am beginning to understand at least…5% of the program…so that’s good! Anyway, here is one of the first images that I have produced from the course – made up of 2 separate images of Scotney Castle and a Banded Demoiselle Damselfly with various texture layers and edges over the top…it earned me a 20/20 mark in our latest camera club competition…so that was good ;-). Oh – it’s called “I Scarcely Call These Things Our Own” the “motto” of the last family that lived at Scotney.

I scarcely call these things our own - Scotney Castle in Kent and a Banded Demoiselle Damselfly
