It’s London Init! Part 5

The end is nigh…AKA the stragglers. Having spent since 6pm the night before out and about I started to run out of steam…but not before a quick visit to Southwark, Southbank and The Tate Modern to round off quite a photographic experience

First up we have a shot of an escalator at Southwark underground station. The stations on the new Jubilee line have a great minimalist steel look and this station is  no exception

Walking back towards Southbank  I walked along Blackfrairs Road and this interesting mural under a bridge…it was a piece of luck that this gentleman arrived to wait for his bus at just the right moment.

Heading down the Thames I grabbed this shot of the the Bankside sign on the bank of the Thames

and finished off with a quick mooch around Tate Modern

and the straggler is this shot taken earlier on the south bank of the Thames of some of the architecture there

along with its fire exits!

A really enjoyable, if exhausting night…looking forward to next year!
