345/365v2 The Betula and The Little Egret

Tool a quick sprint down to Pin Mill on the River Orwell at lunchtime and took this shot of the Betula. The tide was in, and when the tide is in, there’s actually not much coastline to get at…still a lovely spot.

During my lunchtime visit to Pin Mill I decided to only take my 24-70mm lens…oh, how I regretted not having the 70-200mm, sat sung and warm in the boot of the car. This Little Egret was happy to pose so long as I didn’t get too close. Fortunately the D800 takes such massive images that I was able to crop in heavily to get this shot.
