Organisation, or lack thereof.

We’ve been a bit all over the place from the start of this blog – I promise we’ll start being a little more disciplined in the organisation of series of pictures so that you don’t have to leap from page to page to find all the posts from a series. Of course, you could try the categories drop down box – top right of the page, but that’s not a whole lot better organised!  The problem has been that I have an idea or picture for a series, and then another springs up in front of me, and then another…all of a sudden you end up with about 6 series all running together, as we have at the moment!

Anyhow – onwards:

Cooking on Gas

This is a continuation of our Urbex (Rurex) series taken earlier this year. The subject is the old Farm Shop betweem Dunmow and Little Easton. The title is a reminder to me of a favourite saying one of my best friends had many years ago – so Guy – if you happen, by some strange happenstance, to stumble across these pages, How are you? I’m sure the reply will still be “Cooking on gas!”

In case you don’t know, and why would you? Urbex stands for Urban Exploration and Rurex for Rural Exploration – you’ll find many photographers (and general thrill seekers) look for abandoned and old buildings and facilities to investigate and photograph. Favoured sites are old mental institutions, nuclear bunkers, mills etc.
