As a youth I was really into the 2Tone movement – The Specials, The Selecter, The Beat, Madness et al and I still listen to a lot of that style of music.
So I was trying to come up with something to photograph and I decided to try and make a paper/card shirt and from that came the idea that it really fitted into that 2Tone feel, hence the title. It was a shame we didn’t have any black buttons to match the white ones, I may have a scour around the shops and see if I can find a small pack of balck and white buttons and revisit this sometime.
Still happy enough with it, even if it was a bit rushed.
