Dovercourt Lighthouse in Colour

I’ve published a couple of pictures of the lighthouses at Dovercourt before, but none in colour before.

This was taken using my smaller Sony NEX7 camera whilst I was photographing the lighthouse with my main Nikon D800 camera. The D800 was taking a long (4 minutes or so) exposure which means a lot of standing around twiddling of thumbs whilst you wait for it to finish (and once it’s taken the picture you have to wait the same time again as the camera does its noise reduction magic). Whilst this was going on I was taking shots with the NEX7 and got this one which I really like…hope you do too.
