Ratty 4 Us 0 We’ve (well, Debbie has) worked really hard to secure the garden against the rats and we think that they no longer

A really busy week got underway in a rather peaceful manner as I took my morning walk around Great Dunmow. I wasn’t expecting any fog

We thought we’d got rid of these…the battle recommences in the back garden!

Another day, another shot from the garden. The New England Aster came good again with a very busy honey bee collecting the pollen this afternoon.

It poured this afternoon and I was standing at our back door watching it come down and noticed the spider’s web.

Sorry about this, but it’s the New England Aster again, but I think you’ll agree, it is sufficiently different, with the addition of the hoverfly,

This hoverfly was very keen to get as deep into the lavender as possible.

Into the back garden and rummaging around the rosemary bush I found a few of these Rosemary Beetles.

It’s a bit noisy this shot but I enjoyed the look this Moor Hen is giving the feather behind it…and being a little short on
