We had our weekend walk around Rowney Woods near Saffrom Walden and saw a couple of Buzzrads flying in the distance. Unusually, 1 of them left his usual area and gave us a fly past as he headed off to pastures new.
Taken in the back garden, this Starling fledgling was not impressed to see mother leaving! I’ve been getting a lot of shots of the garden birds recenty having invested in a tele-converter…which basically means I can get twice as close to the birds with my camera even though I’m stiil
We finally made our escape from the confines of the house and Christmas and took a stroll around Rowney Woods this afternoon. Plenty of wildlife on view today including 3 hawks of some variety, a large variety of tits and finches, a number of grey squirrels and 29 deer. Not
