A quick look back at my favourite tree on my morning walk.

The poppies on the roadside along my morning walk are still going strong – you can earlier shots of them here and here. Bearing in mind when I’ve seen Poppyfields in the past they haven’t lasted that long, I’ve been pretty impressed with the longevity of these.

This evening we had our weekly camera club evening out and we visited Thaxted. This is a shot of the parish Church there from the back. We were extremely lucky as just a few miles down the road there was torential rain, but it missed us completely, unfortunately, so did

Yes, it’s that tree again, but I haven’t shared a picture of it for nearly 3 months, becasue it doesn’t look very good with leaves on it! The beauty of this tree are all the capillary like branches it has reaching to the sky – the leaves hide that too

My usual route on my morning walk and this scene had the addition of a large flock of sheep who have joined the usual bullocks that call this meadow home…along with a pair of grey heron the medow is starting to get quite crowded. Of course, there’s my favourite tree

I broke out my infra-red converted Nikon D60 camera for the first time this year, depsite the fact that it was overcast first thing this morning. I’d decided I was going to use it last night and charged the battery up so wasn’t going to be put off by a

I’ve got 2 x 66 posts…and I really can’t be bothered working my way backwards renaming every page…so we’ve just skipped number 133, but it’s there…or is it a kind of Schrödinger’s 133… So, today we have our rather splendid Coal Tit…who’s been looking more and more harrassed as this
