We visited “And Sew On” at the Blake House Craft centre in Raine today for Debbie to pick up a few bits and pieces and I took this shot of some of the huge stock of different linens they have there.
It’s a bit disappointing when you visit an airport and the best picture you come home with is of a derelict motorbike! Admittedly I was not actually in the airport, rather, wandering around part of its perimeter, and it was a pretty quiet Saturday afternoon/early evening with not many planes
Back in October we visited Northumberland. This is a view of Edingham Castle which you may be able to make out in the middle distance if you click the image for a larger version.
Back in May of last year I visited the Gatwick Aviation Museum. You can actually get on borad some of the old planes, including this old Shackleton Bomber (nuclear capable). It really was quite fascinating and highly recommended if you have an interest in that sort of thing.
