Just down the road from where I work in Harlow is Parndon Mill on the River Stort. I took advantage of a break in the weather during lunchtime and got down there for 45 minutes. Here’s one of the pictures:

Caught just before sunrise this was the moon on Saturday 15th January 2012 at 07.24am taken from Great Dunmow’s Doctors Pond.

A little short of inspiration today so had a go at the pot-pourri that sits on our dining room table – got some nice textures with the macro lens. Looking forward to getting out and about at the weekend.

One last one from last Sundays London Photowalk. This one is off a derelict tyre fitters a number of us visited. The police turned up fairly quickly and stopped the photographic fun, but not before I had taken this shot.

So, today was camera club night and we were to do some still life studio work under lights. Daily photo in the bag I thought. Well…photos were taken and it was an enjoyable evening, but I thought I’d spare you the mince pies, holly and Christmas crackers that we photographed.

Things are now starting to build up for me. Work is getting pretty busy, I’m doing this 366 project, I’m entering my first competition in the Bishops Stortford Camera Club and, today, I start work on the IDM Certificate of Digital Marketing. This year will be a year of learning!

I joined the London Photowalk today and had a walk around the Olympic Park. Whilst I have no doubt all will be ready for the big day it was probably too early to walk around expecting any photographic action. However, as always, something usually comes along and past a derelict
