Today’s been the first day for a while that I haven’t had a picture by dinner time. So Badger, ensconced on his new favourite place got the full treatment…sadly the radiator behind him rather spoilt the picture…but we sorted it out eventually.
Having spent much of the week in London I know exactly how our cat Elijah felt on Friday evening…there was not going to be much action…so this mobile shot converted in Topaz Impressions will have to suffice for my photographic endeavours for the day.
It’s almost 2 months and this is the first shot of one of our cats in the 365…which is good. It’s also, I believe, the first time I have converted one of Elijah to black and white…just to see how it looked…and he does have magnificent whiskers!
Wandering back from the Co-Op I noticed the Maltings gateway was being guarded by a cat so thought it might make a reasonable subject for today’s photograph. Great Dunmow used to be quite a brewing town – until its closure in the 1940s, malt was still made for the Dunmow
Not much happening photographically today so grabbed this shot of Elijah enjoying the sofa.
…yes, his other leg is dangling just the same on the other side…it can’t be comfy 😉
I popped out to the local Co-Op to pick some provisions up. I was surprised by the number of cats that were around – here’s a couple of them, in the order I saw them.
I think one of our cats, Elijah, needs to go on a diet if today’s photograph is anything to go by. He was out looking at the birds in the back garden…he knows it’s futile going after them…he completely embarrassed himself by failing to jump into the bath the other
This young chap/ess visits our garden periodically and has been seen off by one of our own cats before. S/he didn’t seem entirely keen on having his/her photograph taken either.
I’ve done this shot to myself (a couple of years ago) so I don’t feel bad about doing it to one of our cats, Elijah. So three shots, one is the standard Elijah and two are symetrical versions of him created by using one half of his face on each
