This made its debut this time last year as a macro picture, today I have taken a slightly different picture with a lot more of the Christmas tree (and therefore its bokeh) on show…what I did forget was to shake it…so today there is no falling snow in the snow
I found these steel balls with holes drilled through the middle and was trying to make a bit of an abstract image, but I actually preferred this image because of the bokeh surrounding the steel balls.
You can always tell when it’s bad weather here – out comes the macro lens and I end up wandering around the house trying to find something of interest to shoot. So today, as the rain patters against the window we have some silver chain.
Bit of a disaster today – had a nice jubilee themed photo worked out…but I couldn’t get one part of it to work…and I made a fearful mess in the process. I’ll have another go tomorrow. Midnight was approaching fast so I came up with another idea, which, on reflection
For my 366 Project I created a black and white photograph of these fellas. I had originally intended to use this colour photograph for my daily pic as I was looking to achieve the bokeh you can see in the background, but went with the black and white.
A nice simple one for this evening. I had originally intended to produce an image with bokeh in the background, and I did achieve this, but in the end I preferred this simpler black and white image.
Work is over for another year as we look forward to Christmas. Office parties have been successfully negotiated without too much embarrassment and we are settling in for a week and a half of over eating and drinking. Maybe we’ll get out and about, maybe we won’t, but we’ll certainly
We (well…Debbie) put up the Christmas decorations and tree up today so the house feels nice and festive now. To celebrate I tried my hand at deliberately taking a totally unfocused shot of the tree with the lights on to create this effect. The Christmas lights appear as those disks
