Well, it is Christmas after all and this was a Christmas present so it would be rude not to!

As it’s Valentine’s I was instructed to come up with a heart shaped image for Debbie (that might be a bit of a fib). This one was one of the one’s that didn’t make the cut (although I prefer this one to the one Debbie finally chose for her Instagram

There is a perfectly good reason for me having taken this shot…I’m just not at a liberty to say why at the moment 😉

This was all a bit of a dogs dinner…but I ended up quite liking this abstract shot of the view through the car window in Tesco’s car park!

Playing with my instant bokeh generator (silver foil and torch – see 141/365v3 for more) I found a champagne cork from New Year’s eve and this turned into a mission to make an image out of a cork and some black velvet I have. One cork became two in photoshop

It’s amazing what you can do with a couple of small torches and some silver foil. For those of you who don’t know, bokeh is a Japanese word that describes the blobs of out of focus light in the background.

He’s a very willing model when a fee of 4 x Dreamies are offered for fulfilling modelling duties 😉 Happy New Year to you all!

Wandering around Dunmow on a cold evening looking for shots, I thought the various lights in town would make a slightly different shot of the High Street, turning them into out of focus bokeh.
