Heading away from Harlow towards Hoddestone is a small, old village called Roydon which appears in the Doomsday Book. The River Stort flows through the village. As it was such a nice day today I headed there this lunchtime and made this HDR photograph of the river and narrow boats.

A week or so ago we had snow and today summer arrived! I popped out at lunch time and drove to Roydon to take a stroll along the river Stort. I was surprised to read my car temperature gauge at 17.5°. Walking back to the car later on a was

A nice simple one for this evening. I had originally intended to produce an image with bokeh in the background, and I did achieve this, but in the end I preferred this simpler black and white image.
I visited (amongst other places) Little Leighs this afternoon and, as I was walking down the lane this chap drove past me.
